Andy Noble
CANDIDATE FOR THE OFFICE OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 5
NOVEMBER 2, 2010 ELECTION
2010 Minnesota General Election
CANDIDATE STATEMENT
I am running against Commissioner Rafael Ortega, a 16-yr "career politician" who continues to increase your property taxes and allows more and more jobs and residents to leave Ramsey County.... All while giving himself a 25% raise in 2008 of over $21,000 to his now $86,000+ per year salary and excellent benefits.
As if that wasn't enough - in June 2010, Mr. Ortega decided (yet) again to give himself ANOTHER pay raise... Enough is enough - Commissioner Ortega and the other board members DO NOT represent the interests of YOU and the voters of Ramsey County. They represent their own BEST interests... Vote for Change -
-Ramsey County - highest of all metro counties' property taxes
-Commissioner Conduct - continual pay increases in a poor economic climate
-No jobs being created (other than a few government employee jobs)
-No responsible fiscal management or planning for BIG budget cuts coming
I will work for you, the voter who elects me, to create jobs, bring Ramsey County under better fiscal guidance and management, and to open up this board of government setting our property tax rates, sales tax rates, and managing a budget of $585 million and 4,000 employees
